Today, on our 2014 Ram 2500, well be test fitting the Maxxtow Tow Strap Loop for 2 inch hitches, rated at 10,000 pounds, part # MT70029. Our vehicle is equipped with a 2 1/2 inch hitch, so we'll be using the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve from a 2 1/2 inch to a 2 inch, this is part # BX88187. You can use this heavy duty hitch mounted shackle as an attachment point for strap, cable or rope, and can be used in industrial, agricultural, or recreational applications. We'll begin our test fit by simply sliding the shank of this tow strap loop into the opening of our adapter. We'll line up the 2 pin holes and then slide the adapter back into the hitch. We'll insert in a pin and secure the clipping in the side. Keep in mind that the pin and clip are sold separately. Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, we'll be test fitting the Maxxtow Tow Strap Loop for 2 inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds part number MT70029. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the recovery loop into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip which is sold separately. This heavy duty hitch mounted shackle provides an attachment point for strap, cable, or rope which is sold separately to be used in agricultural, industrial or recreational applications. It is made of a sturdy steel construction and has a corrosion resistant black powder coat finish. Today were going to review part number RA506505. This is the Rampage Bumper Mount Tow Strap Loop with a 10,000 pound capacity. This is a heavy duty tow ring which is great for recovery operation. Youll use this attachment point for strap, cable, or rope. Basically, what you would do, one side is threaded, you just line this up with the hole, take this bolt with the threaded end, slide it through, and then it would just thread into the other end of the tow ring. Then you would just tighten it up, and then you have your tow ring right here, and this would bolt using the hardware to the bumper. more
